Noranda-ECU Football Club is the culmination of a merger between the Noranda Hawks and ECU Football Club. The club will again field both a League and Reserves team in Divisions 1 and 2 of the Mercantile Football Association for season 2010 and will be striving for success in both competitions.

The Noranda Hawks are an established club who have been around for 25 years and in that time have produced numerous AFL players like Michael Prior. Previously based at Robert Thompson Reserve, the club has moved to Lightning Park to provide first class facilities for it's ever expanding player base.

ECU Football Club has played in the Mercantile Football Association since 2004 and was previously based at Robertson Reserve. The club decided at the end of season 2007 to merge with the Noranda Hawks to provide a senior side for the junior football club.
